I'm happy with Octorate

Since I started using Octorate for my properties, it's been smoother to manage daily bookings. The interface is user-friendly, and their support team is always there when I need help. It's made a noticeable difference in how efficiently we operate.

New problems! Bad Experience! Stay away!

After extensive email exchanges with Octorate and Booking, our main issue—reactivating our properties on Booking's platform—has been resolved. An Octorate technician's guidance was incredibly helpful, providing us with the precise message codes being sent to Booking. We raised tickets for each property in question and relayed the detailed information from Octorate to Booking's team. Following a two-day wait, we received confirmation from Booking.com that the problem is resolved. However, we haven't yet received confirmation that the issue was on Booking's side. Given the sequence of events and that the resolution came after we shared the technical details from Octorate with Booking, we are inclined to believe that the problem may have originated from Booking's side. We're awaiting a definitive verdict from Booking to help avoid future issues. While we're grateful for the technical support from Octorate and acknowledge better communication with their Quality team, it seems this Trust Pilot review had a significant impact on the Quality department's actions. We've noticed a definite improvement in dialogue and we plan to update this review in the future, possibly to a full five stars, depending on ongoing service. At present, our impression is still overshadowed by past experiences with the Quality team's approach—we're uncertain if we were dealing with one individual or several within that department. The technician's single email was critical in guiding us toward a solution, proof that the issue just needed to be directed the right way from start. We maintain that our only request has been for the services we've paid for, and our frustration was amplified by receiving incomplete information, generic responses and the suggestion that we should take our concerns to Booking.com and cease bothering the Octorate Quality team - without knowing being instructed what to demand from Booking. This happened after Booking team initially confirmend that the problem was on Octorates side (we have provided screenshots to Octorate with our communication with Booking, they were aware of our efforts to find a solution from Booking team also). We will continue to share our opinion about our ongoing partnership with Octorate, on the Trustpilot platform, which has given us a fair opportunity to express our views and has mediated this dispute with professionalism. Hopefully this review will turn in to a 5 star review in time. We want to remain positive and hope this marks a fresh start between our team and the Octorate Quality team. Efforts are now being made on their side, and we appreciate the positive shift in attitude, thanks to the Octorate technician. UPDATE: FEB 27, 2024 We requested 5 more property templates to be added to our account, we have paid the invoice and now the Quality team is ignoring our request to provide the templates claiming that was not our agreement and that we need to pay more. We have written proof of everything claimed and the services have deteriorated from last time.

Scam Company - Be Aware - Disappointing Experience with Octorate.com – A Cautionary Tale

I feel compelled to share my deeply frustrating experience with Octorate.com to help others make an informed decision before considering their services. Despite initial promises of comprehensive support and efficient integration with Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), my journey with Octorate has been nothing short of a nightmare. From the outset, the process was marred by mismanagement and technical ineptitude. Promised a seamless setup, I instead faced a series of blunders: nonexistent master accounts, duplicated accounts with differing login details, and, most distressingly, the deletion of an account that contained active reservations. Each misstep seemed to compound, leaving my business in disarray and my properties inaccurately represented across platforms. The software itself, far from the robust tool I was led to expect, was riddled with errors and configuration issues. Promised functionalities were absent, leading to discrepancies in policy and rule applications on OTAs, directly impacting my business's reputation and operations. Despite numerous attempts to seek assistance and rectify these issues, the support offered by Octorate was woefully inadequate—generic responses, no clear guidance, and a palpable lack of progress. The final straw came when, despite explicit contractual assurances of personalized support, my pleas for competent intervention were met with silence. The lack of accountability and professionalism in addressing the cascading series of errors not only wasted my time but also incurred additional costs for my business due to their negligence. To those considering Octorate.com for their channel management needs, I urge caution. The reality of their service falls disastrously short of their promises, leaving you to contend with the fallout. My experience serves as a stark warning: promises unfulfilled, time squandered, and a business left to pick up the pieces. I had no choice but to escalate matters legally and seek alternatives that respect their commitments and value their clients. Let my experience be a lesson to all - in the realm of business, transparency, and reliability are paramount. Octorate.com has shown a glaring deficiency in both.
