Fantastic Stay Experience
I was essentially taken for a ride and charged $499 for a stay that never happened. The host asked me to book via Fantastic Stay versus using the AirBnB app to avoid the additional fees. This was in response to my original query to see if a discounted rate could be offered given a slower time of year. Due to a force Majeure related event (winter storm in Buffalo NY USA which was broadcast across the nation in late Dec) we were unable to make trip to the property in the Midwest. The host stated that because it was within the 7 day cancellation window no refunds would be issued. We then cited it was an uncontrollable act and he said he would check with owners. We haven't heard a word from him despite three follow up attempts via his mobile number which he provided upon the earlier inquiry via AirBnB about the property. I will be pursuing all means necessary to get my $499 refunded and ensure nobody else gets shortchanged by this host or company again. This is not a review or a claim against Fantastic Stay or its technology rather against one of its users who is a host and is giving the company a bad name. This is the company name that shows up when the payment link is sent and when it shows up on credit card statement so naturally this is why we have tried to seek support from FS. It might be helpful to cancel your host’s subscription or service so he can stop giving you a poor reputation in the market.

In 2022 we decided to rent our 4 apartment family mountain chalet for the first time beyond our direct customers after 15 years going solo. Quite a dramatic change as everything was handled by our parents before that!!! After a thorough review, I selected Fantasticstay (FS) as our Channel partner because of the excellent reviews and because FS would enable us to automate many tasks to extend our reach to Airbnb and beyond. I was not disappointed! The FS team is very responsive and stands by its services. I have never seen such a helpful support both on the Sales side from Asen and the Support team from Hristiyan. The website features are also very easy to use : I was able to digitalize our contract for our direct customers, we use the payment through stripe, we integrated natively with Airbnb, all of our messages can be managed from FS, the Calendar is very easy to use... FS also has some advanced features (some of which even in the free version) for automation (to inform the cleaning company...). Since we manage our chalet through a family company we are able to report VAT. We use an estimation for the French occupancy tax, but it is 98% correct. Our next step is to test the smart calendar (to rent the full chalet , not only the 3-4 apartments separately). I value very much the responsiveness of the FS team which enabled us to solve most of our initial issues. I was heavily involved the first 3-4 weeks to configure everything but did not have to be involved much afterwards, a testimony of the quality of this service. My sister in la Reunion can handle all of your requests remotely and we are fully digital. Hats off to the FantasticStay team! To be fair, there are a couple of things that can be improved. After each change, the FantasticStay updates itself. This update is really quick on Chrome (so we now use Chrome instead of Firefox), so not a problem. I would appreciate other payments options (such as wire transfers which are free instead of just Stripe). Other than that, FS will enable us to scale to Booking and numerous other sites in the future, there is room to grow. I highly recommend this solution and company.
