Booked a leak detection service and the engineer came out yesterday, was on time, great. Was able to locate the leak fairly quickly but had multiple issues submitting the report on his system and so had to repeat this twice, including in the flat upstairs. I will still billed for this and seeing as its £125 an hour was not particularly happy. My main issue is I’ve not been sent the actual report... that was the whole point of booking. Without it, I cannot proceed to get the problem fixed via my managing agents. I’ve effectively paid £300 for someone to tell me I have a leak (which I already knew!). Have contacted to ask for the report and nothing, despite being promised it as soon as the visit had finished. From overhearing the engineer’s conversation on the phone it sounds like this isn’t a one off. To really make it special, my credit card has tried to be charged three times over, so spent much of yesterday chasing to get this cancelled and still have zero to show for it. If I don’t get the report asap will be using a company who can actually deliver what they promise and demanding a refund from Aspect.
The plumber that visited my house was so friendly and very helpful. He helped me remove and connect my new appliance. He was so good at his job and will definitely recommend him in the future.
