Welkeys Poor customer service - coorperate "no care"
If the apartment is OK and you need no support from Welkeys it should be OK. My bad experience is ongoing. They had two security incidents so I had to cancel due to perceived and actual risk. Welkeys refused to reimburse me. Avoid Welkeys. If the owner of the property "Bright one bedroom near Bastille" knew the stress caused and contempt delivered by Welkeys, they'd find another property manager pronto. Worse experience with an Airbnb I've ever had due to Welkeys. They have every opportunity to contact me to acknowledge the poor experience, at the time unsafe environment, recognise two security breaches is not what they want customers to experience and they recognise a reimbursement is fair and appropriate. Welkeys can communicate all they need thru Airbnb safe communication channel.
Excellent experience
My husband, mother-in-law and I stayed at a gorgeous house in France. We were met by Audrey, who showed us around the house and explained everything to us. There was a slight mix-up with the parking, but I called Audrey and she sorted it out immediately (even though it was very late at night). Fantastic accommodation, very comfortable, it had everything we needed!
Welkeys DONT use them: They had TWO security breaches, didnt reimburse me
I booked a place - but their site, after the booking, then got hacked and one of their staff members also had violated Airbnb policy and was banned. I had to cancel due to this unsafe environment. This management of the property clearly provided a risk to me so I cancelled. They refused to reimburse me >$2000. How could anyone feel safe in such a property managed by Welkeys? Welkeys decide to keep my payment claiming their cancellation policy. Does their cancellation policy include "If we upset customers due to 1 or 2 security breaches we still keep their money" They have every means to contact me and provide reimbursement through the Airbnb secure service but refuse to.
