Plum Guide does not meet expectations!

I chose Plum Guide for 2 reasons that make it unique: * Home Critic checks rental property & gives tips * Communicate with a human being The condo was in much worse condition than stated! Dirty! Many broken, non-functioning aspects. When we got locked out due to key pad not working and NO KEYS given! In communication with PG but no appropriate resolution! The property was a disappointment & Plum Guide, too.

Woodpeckers Island - great family house

House was perfect for our purposes. Clean, great condition and stocked with all we needed. Ping pong table was a nice touch. Only issue is that the pool could not be heated. There was a warning about this in the description and we asked about it. The owner was contacted and we were assured that it was fixed and would work even if ambient temp low. This was NOT the case. The pool heat at this home does not work below 60F. Thankfully we were refunded the money spent on pool heating.

Beautiful and convenient flat in an excellent location!

My daughter and I loved our stay at White Doves. The flat was gorgeous and turned out to actually be what the pictures depicted on line. It was beautifully decorated and very clean. With the loft bedroom, we both had lots of room to relax and have our own space. As we both had jet lag it was great to not be on top of eachother like we would be in a standard hotel room. The location was great! Groceries, restaurants, tube station, bus route, Hyde Park...all right within a few blocks. Having a full kitchen was also really good (not that I cooked), but it was great to be able to have snacks and tea anytime we wanted. And having a washing machine for clothes was also great! I hate moving around with a bag full of dirty laundry in my suitcase! Our host was super friendly and helpful...she made us feel right at home. We would definitely recommend White Doves and look forward to staying again!
