Megan Crawley Designs

Residential and commercial interior decorator based in Brooklyn

Megan Crawley has been a designer in the home decor and hospitality market for the past 12 years, during that time she created art prints for many leading retailers such as Crate and Barrel, Ballard Designs and Ethan Allen. After discovering that her talent for design went beyond just the artwork in a room, she began a career in interior design working at SoHo-based firm Dekar Design. There she gained experience decorating luxury apartments on Central Park West, new constructions in the Hamptons and updates on the exquisitely designed restaurant, BOBO in the West Village, among many other projects.

Continuing to follow her passion, Megan studied at Parsons and New York School of Interior Design before starting her own interior decorating business in 2015. She has her BFA in painting and drawing and loves to pull inspiration for rooms from her client’s favorite artwork. Family heirlooms and antique finds are also great sources of inspiration when working to create a space that reflects the client’s personality. She loves the challenge of making current decor work with the addition of new elements to create a polished and modern feel, and she is just as adept at starting fresh with all new décor depending on the project budget.

Megan works to understand her client’s vision and personal aesthetic, and adapts the design plan to fit the individual client’s needs. Above all else, she knows practical function and comfort are at the heart of any well-designed room. Megan is happy to work with you on any project, small or large, from simply selecting a new paint color or a new sofa, to a complete room makeover. She truly believes that she can help create a space that you will love for years to come and save you the time and money that can be lost from common decorating mistakes.
