Terrible experience

Terrible experience! I used the service in Singapore. It says 48 hr service. The driver has failed to deliver and it will be 72 hrs if I receive my clothes. The app suggested no-one to accept the order but I am in a 24hr concierge hotel. This has caused me to leave work to buy new clothes. I used the service before in Abu Dhabi. 24hrs and brilliant. WHAT IS WRONG IN SINGAPORE?? It has cost me SG$300 for new clothes + SG$50 for 2kg of laundry I have not seen!!!

Misleading terrible service

My dry cleaner across my flat closed down so I tried out laundryheap. I chose dry cleaning for a few shirts and for a few jumpers. On their pricing list it said jumpers would cost £7.95 per item. The next day I got a message saying they would charge me £12 per jumper as they are all cashmere. First of all, where do they specify on their website the material of the jumpers? I wouldn't need dry cleaning for a simple cotton jumper anyway. Dry cleaning implies delicate fabrics anyway. I've been scrolling through their entire website to see any item being listed that costs £12 to dry clean and I cannot see it anywhere. After contacting their customer service I was told these are standard rates. Why would you add 50% to a standard rate? Secondly, please learn to count: Of the 5 jumpers, only 2 were cashmere, the others were just normal wool. This is simply a lie. Great way to take some additional cash from their customers. It's simply a price trap. I refused to get these dry cleaned for this price and will go to a different dry cleaner, in person. They did something similar with my shirts: To call a simple linen summer overshirt (what's the difference here anyway?!) a jacket/blazer in order to charge triple the price is criminal. The delivery was also more difficult than expected. I had received a text message that the driver would get to my address before the booked time slot so I rushed home. Halfway there, I received a notification on the app saying that the delivery failed. Then it said it would arrive an hour later. This unnecessary back and forth was frustrating. I contacted the customer service several times. None of the customer service agents cared to actually help me with any of the issues. This was my first and last order with laundryheap. I do not recomend it to anyone out there. The service might work well in theory, in practice however it's a complete disaster from beginning to end. Laundryheap promises to save you time but ends up doing the opposite and on top of that adds frustration. I've been to many dry cleaners and never have I had such a horrible experience. If my experience had not been this bad, I would not bother writing this review. It didn't just cost me much more money but also a lot of time. I hope I can prevent people from using their service as I do not wish this to anyone.

Two out of three items lost and no urgency to locate them

Sent three items for dry cleaning and only one has been returned. Reported the items as missing and got an automated reply to say that updates and further instructions would be received within 24h. It’s now 24h later and all I’ve received is a question confirming what was in the order, which should have been clear anyway. My messages are being read but not responded to, and I’m starting to suspect fowl play. I’m heartbroken that sentimental items are lost and I am frustrated at Laundryheap’s poor customer service. I hope this negative public review speeds up their investigation into my missing items.
