IKEA

Doing it a different way

The IKEA Concept starts with the idea of providing a range of home furnishing products that are affordable to the many people, not just the few. It is achieved by combining function, quality, design and value – always with sustainability in mind.

The IKEA Concept exists in every part of our company, from design, sourcing, packing and distributing through to our business model. Our aim is to help more people live a better life at home.

CHOOSE VERY CAREFULLY, returns not easy without car

CHOOSE VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU BUY. Ordered 3 items, 2 small ones and one large rug. Paid £40 for delivery, which came by 2 separate delivery vans. Their returns policy with Collect Plus is so limited - only small items can be left at various Collect + stores. If you don't own a car (for very good ecological reasons), now, either I've to got pay another £25.00 for IKEA to come and collect, which will amount nearly the cost of the rug! Rent a car for however many hours to take it back? No, that's just as costly. While you know the staff are just reiterating the options - 365 days to return at your own 'convenience' it doesn't work for people who live in small places ...

This is about the Warrington branch…

This is about the Warrington branch which various staff members are completely without any knowledge of the products they sell and the components needed I’ve had to travel 20 mile round trips so many time because of bad advice. Also the inconsistency of customer service department having returned a very large amount of stock without packaging they decided to revoke this because of no barcode with the packaging( I know Ikea policy on returns but they 99% of the time by pass this.) these people are inept and don’t understand customer care at all. I will never return, this is a company that has no idea about customer relations.
