The appartment was not as i expected. The person who showed me the appartment was late and he didn't know about it at all. I had to extend my contract due to the COVID situation, and i had to leave it in April. When i did, i was expecting my security deposit refund. They didn't answer me and i am still waiting for the refund, it has been more than a month and they are not giving me any answers.
I booked a Paris rental with them through VRBO for April. They charged the entire fee of $3000 at the time of the rental. I had to cancel due to Covid-19 travel restrictions in March. They promised me a refund only to keep putting it off time and again. I've yet to receive a refund as of 13 May. They are not answering VRBO. The company is a scam.
Hostmaker in administration. Short term letting owners are only getting 1p for every £ owed because the administrators and HM did not put owners rental money into a client account. We are not secured debtors and go to the very bottom of the pile...... I want to challenge this and get a owners group together as our funds should have been protected in a Client account.
