Couldbeds was a true partner in covid times. They had helped us and really make us feel it as a partnership between hostel and pms.
We wanted to use this softare to manage our small hostel with 28 beds. We talked about the features that we will have with the plan that we were buying on the phone before buying. They told us we will have 3 apps for free and shared inventory funcion is included. After paying, we are told we need to pay extra for shared inventory and apps we talked that they said free is just integration of the app is free. So We are informed in the begining wrong. We were thinking of two software to use, cloudbeds or Counter app. Counter app is half the price and comes these features with premium planall included. We wanted to cancel the membership, but look what they say, we can cancel but we do not refund. So you cancel but take the money. Interesting. I never had this kind of issue in nowhere. We are using just to save our money then we will cancel it for sure.
They do not want to make a refund for using the service 2 days online We contacted sales , got the information and signed in , when the on boarding was going on we realized that Group reservations was not included we had to call sales manager to get it with the same price, The onboarding process was good in spanish. when the onboarding was finished we realized that The Cloud University for learning to use the system is not in Spanish and wanted to charge us to teach the personal sales is very good in not telling you that everything is in English and our personal is Spanish speaking. we are in Mexico. The first 2 reservations received by Booking arrived without the complete credit card information , we contacted technical support , after 50 minutes waiting on the phone they said sorry it was a glitch cant get the information any more nothing we can . now I have 2 reservations without the CVC Code: and cant charge this non-refundable rate. We decided to cancel the service : False advertisements , they do not explain that training for receptionists, and reservations personal is only in english (cloud university ) , - not getting all the credit card information - very bad technical service , waiting 50 minutes or more every time you want to speak with somebody. - No refund for using the service online for 2 days , all the other time was for the onboarding. ****** We contacted costumer service and got this replay "según nuestros Términos y Condiciones, y igual a otros servicios de suscripción como Netflix, requerimos el pago por adelantado y no hacemos reembolsos por falta de uso; " they compare their services with Netflix , we used the service for 2 days and asked for the refund because it was not working as they offered, and the service in spanish they want to charge extra for it , which they do not disclose at the beginning of the contract
